Intention (SMART Goal)
By October 24th, as part of my film team, I will use directing elements such as blocking and movement to create suspense by using Studei Binder’s What is Suspense by Kyle Deguzman. By doing this, I will have created a film that evokes the mood of a thriller.
PRE-PRODUCTION – INQUIRY
Leader(s) in the Field / Exemplary Work(s)
Alfred Hitchcock was an English director known for his ability to successfully create susupense in his films. Most known for his films Psycho, The Birds, North by Northwest, and Vertigo, Hitchcock was eventually nicknamed the “master of suspense”. One of the ways Hitchcock creates his suspense is by introducing the audience to something that the character is unaware of.
